SEATS | ASSESSMENT


The CITB Site Safety Plus SEATS course is assessed in two ways:

  1. Tutor assessment (ongoing, based on your participation in group discussions / exercises), and;

  2. An end of course assessment (online multiple choice/response examination).


End of Course Assessment

About the Assessment

Your end of course assessment consists of one exam paper, consisting of 25 questions. Exam papers consist of:

mostly multiple choice papers, with some short answer questions to finish.

  • 22 Multiple choice questions 

  • 3 Multiple response

All multiple choice questions will be worth one mark. Multiple response questions may be worth 1 to 3 marks each (identified on the paper)

For the last 10 minutes of the exam you will be allowed to access the GE700/E eBook

The pass mark for the final assessment is 80% (24 marks out of 30).

A re-sit will be available to you within 90 days if you score is 21 or over in the exam and pass the tutor review.


Completing the Assessment

CITB Virtual Classroom Examinations are completed using Microsoft Forms.

  • At the end of the final Zoom session the tutor will provide you with a clickable link to access the exam paper.

  • Click the link to access the paper.

  • Do not commence the examination until instructed to do so.

  • Once complete, ensure your details are correct at the bottom of the form and click submit.

You are permitted to refer to the supporting publication, Construction site supervision (GE700), during the last 10 minutes of the examination period.
