IOSH Corporate Risk Essentials

Risk, like beauty is in the eye of the beholder - how would you define it?

Most in health and safety will define risk along the lines of ‘risk is the chance, high or low that somebody could be harmed, with an indication of the severity of harm.’

ISO Guide 73:2009 provides definitions of generic terms related to risk management in the hope of aligning vocabulary:

‘1.1 risk - effect of uncertainty on objectives’.

Do the differences matter? Absolutely. Having operated in hostile environments as part of multinational teams, mutual understanding of terminology saves lives.

With this is mind we are thrilled to announce PCR Global can now deliver ‘IOSH Corporate Risk Essentials’.

Corporate Risk Essentials is the latest instalment to the IOSH Executive Education suite alongside Corporate Governance & Leading Safely.

This activity-based programme runs over 3.5 hours. I will deliver via Zoom in the next couple of weeks.

Training will be supported via access to the PCR Global Member Zone (IOSH Learning Zone).

If you are interested please contacts us to discuss.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy, Stay Productive.
