WYNFORD PROTHEROE

RISK MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT

Introduction

Wynford joined PCR Global in 2023 after successfully running a property renovation and maintenance business, honing his skills in customer service and gaining an insight into the world of Health and Safety and risk management. The company was active for 17 years, followed by some time at Swansea HMP.

… It’s not what you think!

For five years (and no! not as a customer!) instead Wyn opted for the maintenance department, 2.5 years spent working on the establishment of fire suppression systems, as well as being an integral part of the team maintaining the prison.

Wyn was responsible for ensuring the safety of all inhabitants and the staff at the prison — a naturally heavily governed work environment.

The opportunity arose during this period to transfer to PCR Global and Wyndford’s not looked back since…

“I haven’t looked back – not that I’ve had the time to mind. My experience has been fantastic, the learning / teaching has been second to none – and I am grateful for the experiences that the role has brought already.”
