POWER PRESS SAFETY
Introduction
Under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (as applied to power presses) Power presses are among the most dangerous machines used in industry. Accidents involving power presses are usually caused by trapping between the tools. These accidents often result in amputation or serious injuries which can be life changing or even death.
This course contains practical guidance on how to comply with the relevant requirements of PUWER 98 to ensure power presses are operated safely and accidents to operators are avoided.
Note: Due to the nature of this training, this course is currently only available for delivery to groups.
