MANUAL HANDLING
Introduction
HALF DAY
At PCR Global we understand that there are vast differences across industries when it comes to manual handling. In the construction industry individuals or groups may be tasked with lifting heavy objects with a variety of lifting aids, where an office worker or cleaner may be required to lift a lighter object, albeit it of awkward loading in a confined area.
Incorrect manual handling can lead to serious long term health affects classified as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), which account for over a third of all work-related illnesses reported each year to the enforcing authorities.
For this reason we make it our aim to be as specific as possible when it comes to the delivery of manual handling training, ensuring the classroom best replicates the real-work environment.
Certification for this course is valid for 3 years.
