A dedicated and professional consultant, trainer and mentor, with in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of emergency planning, crisis management, and business continuity.

Joe has a wealth of experience at every level of crisis management, both nationally and internationally, and has delivered across multiple eclectic organisations - oil & gas, government departments, airlines, cruise, rail, local authorities, health, academia, defence, utilities and emergency services.

Possessing persuasive communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, Joe has an infectious enthusiasm and proven track record of working to strict deadlines and delivering successful outcomes in all areas of preparedness and resilience.

With over 12 years’ experience in the delivery of crisis management and business continuity training, Joe has delivered collective and individual resilience, crisis management and business continuity courses internationally. Joe’s eclectic range of customers include public bodies; Government Departments, Local Resilience Forums, Military and the private sector; Cruise Operators, Utilities, Rail Operators, Financial Sector, Oil and Gas Sector, Aviation Industry and Academia.

Joe prides himself on the currency of his knowledge which ensures his teaching is aligned to current doctrine and good practice. It has been utilised to support large events such as; Operation Yellowhammer (no deal Brexit), the London Olympics, G8 Summits, NATO Summit and Commonwealth Games to name a few.

Geographically, he has delivered training and exercises to personnel from five of the world’s continents, gaining considerable experience in international hazards, threats, risks as they pertain to national operating procedures.

Closer to home, Joe has carried out a training needs analysis for The Cabinet Office Briefing Room (COBR), and in 2019 worked as a consultant for the Civil Contingencies Secretariat - here he was key to the development and delivery of the largest Government cross Departmental Exercise in over 20-years.
