Introduction
Catherine is a Member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and holds Membership status with The Institute of Leadership and Management. Catherine has over 25 years experience in the learning & development and business consultancy sectors working across a spectrum of complex organisational structures.
An energetic, ambitious and agile Leadership & Management and Executive Coaching professional with excellent strategic, transformation and organisational effectiveness expertise proven when leading business strategy and driving change. Innovative and resourceful, a results-oriented professional with strong influencing and persuasion skills used at Board and employee engagement level in BlueChip, SME, Public and Private Organisations.
Catherine started her 13 year career with Lloyds Bank on their Management Development Programme. This gave Catherine the ability to analyse commercial and personal requirements meeting these with design and delivery of dynamic and versatile solutions for customers. Catherine consistently took account of the ‘big picture’ and translated strategic targets into practical, efficient and effective actions resulting in her move into Management. Catherine proceeded to manage complex projects to meet Board requirements and vision in the HR and Learning and Development sectors of the business. In this role she delivered significant cost savings, enabling faster senior management decision making. In her final Leadership role, Catherine effectively managed the reduction of headcount by 2000 across the group to meet commitment to Board to reduce headcount as a result of effective management of lifecycle of Projects and the successful implementation of an Oracle Software package.
After a move into the Learning & Development sector of the business, Catherine became an Independent Business Consultant and has worked at a Senior Management and Board level in HR, People Development and Strategy in a range of organisational sectors which gives her a significant level of occupational competency within business at all levels, as well as highly tuned and effective leadership skills. Clients included Biomet UK, Public Health Wales, Lloyds Bank, Traveline Cymru, Confused.com and The Institute of Leadership and Management.
Catherine’s extensive people management skills and in depth commercial knowledge ideally places her to drive and lead the success of organisations through it’s talented and valued people.
